Macrobiotic Maple & Nut Scones

Ingredients

  • 200 grams Cake flour
  • 50 grams Bread flour
  • 5 grams Baking powder
  • 3 grams Salt
  • 40 grams Maple syrup
  • 30 grams Canola oil
  • 90 grams Soy milk
  • 30 grams Walnuts

Instructions

  1. Sift all of the dry ingredients together.
  2. Next, mix in the chopped walnuts.
  3. Mix together the canola oil, soy milk, and maple syrup.
  4. Mix it well till it emulsifies.
  5. Combine Step 1 with Step 2.
  6. Next, with a rubber spatula, mix together well using gentle cutting motions.
  7. Once it is no longer floury, gather the dough together.
  8. Roll the dough out to a 2 cm thickness with a rolling pin and cut the dough into whatever shapes you would like.
  9. Arrange them on a baking tray and bake in an oven for 15 minutes at 220C.
