Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. mincemeat
  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 c. mixed fruit
  • 1 c. walnut meats
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1 Tbsp. baking soda
  • 1 1/3 cans condensed Eagle Brand milk

Instructions

  1. Break up the mincemeat and add water, then boil for 1 minute.
  2. Butter a 9-inch tube pan.
  3. Combine the prepared mincemeat mixture with flour, eggs, mixed fruit, chopped walnuts, baking soda, and condensed milk to form the batter.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 2 hours or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
