- Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Spread half of the bread slices evenly over the bottom, cutting off crusts and using crusts to fill in the empty spaces.
- Layer shredded cheddar cheese over the bread and top with a second layer of bread.
- Mix together 8 eggs and 1/3 cup milk.
- Beat until well blended.
- Pour the egg mixture over the bread in the pan.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Bake at 350°F for 15 to 20 minutes.
