Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. pink lemonade Kool-Aid
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 qt. water
  • 1 1/2 c. pineapple juice
  • 1/2 c. grapefruit juice

Instructions

  1. Mix the pink lemonade Kool-Aid, sugar, water, pineapple juice, and grapefruit juice together and freeze.
  2. Twenty-four hours before serving, remove from freezer and place in the refrigerator until it becomes slushy.
  3. To serve, pour the slushy mixture into a punch bowl and add Sprite.

Tips & Substitutions

For a more vibrant flavor, consider adding a splash of fresh lemon or lime juice. If you prefer a less sweet punch, reduce the sugar to 1 cup or substitute with a sugar alternative. You can also use homemade lemonade instead of Kool-Aid for a more natural taste. Experiment with adding fresh fruits like berries or citrus slices for extra color and flavor.

Serving Suggestions

Serve this punch in a large bowl over ice to keep it chilled. It pairs beautifully with light appetizers like the Sesame Seed Salad Dressing or Roasted Asparagus-Raspberry Salad. For a festive touch, garnish with fresh mint leaves or citrus slices. This punch is perfect for summer parties, bridal showers, or family gatherings.

Storage & Reheating

Store any leftover punch in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. If the punch becomes too liquidy, you can re-freeze it as a slushy. Just be sure to stir it occasionally to maintain a consistent texture. Avoid refreezing multiple times to preserve the quality.
