Ingredients

  • 8 ice cubes, crushed
  • 1 pint vanilla ice cream, cut into cubes
  • 3 T. cocoa, sifted
  • 2 tsp. brown sugar
  • 1 1/4 c. milk

Instructions

  1. Put 4 glass tumblers into the refrigerator to chill for 30 minutes.
  2. Put half the ice cubes, half the ice cream, half the cocoa, sugar, and milk into a blender.
  3. Blend for 2 minutes until frothy.
  4. Pour the mixture into 2 of the chilled tumblers.
  5. Top with a scoop of ice cream if desired.
  6. Repeat the process with the remaining half of the ingredients to make the other 2 shakes.
