Ingredients

  • 1/4 lb. butter
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 3 c. cake flour
  • 6 eggs, beaten
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon flavoring
  • 1/4 lb. chopped candied cherries
  • 1/4 lb. candied pineapple
  • 2 c. chopped pecans
  • 1/2 box white raisins
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Mix thoroughly to ensure all ingredients are well incorporated.
  3. Pour the batter into a prepared baking pan.
  4. Bake at 300°F (150°C) for 1 1/2 hours.
  5. Allow the cake to cool before sealing.
  6. Seal the cake well and refrigerate for at least a week before serving.
