Ingredients

  • 2 cups self-rising flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 jar Junior size baby food prunes
  • 1 cup Wesson oil
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon allspice
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients, except nuts, in a large bowl.
  2. Fold in chopped nuts last by hand.
  3. Pour the batter into a greased and floured tube pan.
  4. Bake at 325°F for 1 1/2 hours.
