Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups applesauce
  • 1/2 cup cooking oil
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 1/2 cups self-rising flour
  • 1/2 cup egg substitute
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup chopped figs

Instructions

  1. Follow the directions of Solomon for bringing up a child, Proverbs 13:24.
  2. Mix and beat all the ingredients together until well combined.
  3. Pour the batter into a tube pan.
  4. Bake in a 350°F oven for 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  5. Place on a plate and frost with Heavenly White Frosting if desired.
