Ingredients

  • 1 (3 oz.) package jello (pineapple, grapefruit or orange)
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 2 (11 oz.) cans Mandarin orange sections
  • 1 tsp. grated orange rind
  • 1 (8 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple

Instructions

  1. Dissolve gelatin and sugar in boiling water.
  2. Drain fruits, reserving 3/4 cup of the combined syrups.
  3. Add the measured syrup and orange rind to the gelatin mixture.
  4. Chill until slightly thickened, about 1 to 2 hours.
  5. Stir whipped topping into the gelatin mixture until blended.
  6. Fold in the drained fruits.
  7. Pour into a mold and chill until firm.
