- Dissolve orange gelatin in boiling water.
- Add 2 cups of fruit juices to the gelatin mixture.
- Cool the mixture and refrigerate until it reaches the consistency of unbeaten egg white.
- Add the drained mandarin oranges, crushed pineapple, and a pint of orange sherbet to the gelatin mixture.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Pour the mixture into a 12-cup ring mold.
- Refrigerate until well set.
- Unmold before serving.
- Optional: divide into two smaller molds for individual servings.
