Ingredients

  • 2 (11 oz.) cans mandarin oranges, drained
  • 1 (13 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 3 (3 oz.) packages orange gelatin
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 cups fruit juices
  • 1 pint orange sherbet

Instructions

  1. Dissolve orange gelatin in boiling water.
  2. Add 2 cups of fruit juices to the gelatin mixture.
  3. Cool the mixture and refrigerate until it reaches the consistency of unbeaten egg white.
  4. Add the drained mandarin oranges, crushed pineapple, and a pint of orange sherbet to the gelatin mixture.
  5. Mix thoroughly.
  6. Pour the mixture into a 12-cup ring mold.
  7. Refrigerate until well set.
  8. Unmold before serving.
  9. Optional: divide into two smaller molds for individual servings.
