Maple Dijon Gravy

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon whole grain Dijon mustard

Instructions

  1. Melt butter over medium heat and cook onion, stirring occasionally, 4 minutes or until tender.
  2. Stir in flour, seasoned salt and garlic salt; cook, stirring frequently, 1 minute. With a wire whisk, stir in 1/2 cup broth until thickened.
  3. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat and simmer 2 minutes or until thickened.
