Maple Glazed Pork

Ingredients

  • 4 pork loin chops bone in, 1 inch thick, patted dry
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450 F. Season pork with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Dredge pork in flour and shake off excess.
  3. Heat a heavy nonstick skillet over high heat.
  4. Add butter and sear chops 4-5 minutes, turning frequently, or until browned.
  5. Transfer pork to a shallow roasting pan and bake 10-15 minutes or until pork is just cooked throughout.
