Ingredients

  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons white corn syrup
  • 3 teaspoons maple flavoring
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 3 cups pecans

Instructions

  1. Cook sugars, syrup, cream, and salt over high heat until the mixture reaches 235°F, forming a soft ball when dropped in water.
  2. Remove from heat. Add maple flavoring and pecans.
  3. Beat the mixture until it becomes creamy.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto waxed paper to cool and set.
