Ingredients

  • 2 lb. salmon fillet
  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
  • nonstick cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Spray a 13 x 9-inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray and place the salmon fillet skin side down in the pan.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the maple syrup and chopped walnuts.
  4. Spread the maple walnut mixture over the top of the salmon.
  5. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and the color is light pink.
