Frequently Asked Questions

Can I make these tarts ahead of time?

Absolutely! You can prepare the tarts up to the baking stage and store them in the fridge for a day. Once baked, fill them with marshmallow creme just before serving to keep them fresh and fluffy.

What can I use instead of marshmallow creme?

If you don’t have marshmallow creme, you can make a quick substitution by whipping up some marshmallows with a bit of corn syrup and butter. Alternatively, you can use whipped cream for a lighter filling.

Are these tarts suitable for vegan diets?

To make these tarts vegan, substitute the cookie dough with a vegan sugar cookie recipe and replace the marshmallow creme with a vegan marshmallow fluff or a whipped coconut cream. This way, everyone can enjoy this delicious treat!
