Ingredients

  • 1 chocolate graham cracker crust
  • 1 qt. coffee ice cream
  • hot fudge sauce
  • slivered almonds
  • whipped cream

Instructions

  1. Soften the coffee ice cream and spread it evenly into the chocolate graham cracker crust.
  2. Place the crust in the freezer for about 1 hour.
  3. Warm the hot fudge sauce until it is pourable.
  4. Remove the crust from the freezer and pour a layer of warm fudge sauce over the entire ice cream surface.
  5. Return the pie to the freezer for 15 minutes.
  6. Top the pie with whipped cream and sprinkle slivered almonds over the top.
  7. Keep the pie in the freezer for at least an hour before serving.
  8. Remove the pie from the freezer about 15 to 20 minutes before cutting to soften slightly.
