Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 6 slices Velveeta cheese
  • salt
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. Fry ground beef and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Pour off grease and place the cooked beef in a loaf pan.
  3. Cook and mash potatoes until smooth.
  4. Spread mashed potatoes over the cooked ground beef in the loaf pan.
  5. Cut Velveeta cheese slices in half.
  6. Place the cheese halves in an X shape on top of the mashed potatoes.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
