Mathilde's Vegetable Soup
Ingredients
- 2 quarts water ⓘ
- 5 each vegetable stock cubes ⓘ
- 1 tablespoon salt ⓘ
- 1 dash black pepper ⓘ
- 2 each celery stalks cut up ⓘ
- 1 large onions cut up
- 2 cans tomatoes diced ⓘ
- 1 package okra frozen, cut ⓘ
- 2 packages mixed vegetables frozen ⓘ
- 1 can pinto beans ⓘ
- 1 medium potatoes diced ⓘ
- 1/2 each green bell peppers diced
- 1 pound mushrooms sliced ⓘ
- 2 cups tomato juice ⓘ
- 1 dash cayenne pepper
Instructions
- In a large covered pot, combine water, bouillion cubes, salt and a dash of pepper.
- Then add remaining ingredients.
- Cook together 5 to 6 hours.
