Ingredients

  • 5 medium potatoes, sliced
  • 1 lb. ground chuck
  • 1 small onion, diced fine
  • small bits of parsley, chopped fine
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 small can tomato sauce
  • 1 1/2 cans water

Instructions

  1. Cook ground chuck, diced onion, chopped parsley, and oil on the stove until the meat is done.
  2. Add the small can of tomato sauce and 1 1/2 cans of water to the meat mixture.
  3. Simmer the mixture for 20 minutes.
  4. Place sliced potatoes in a casserole dish, season with salt and pepper, and pour the meat mixture over the potatoes.
  5. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 1 hour until potatoes are tender and cooked through.
