Meat Lasagna

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. medium noodles
  • 1 1/2 lb. hamburger
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 (7 1/2 oz.) tomato sauce
  • 1 1/2 c. cottage cheese
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 6 green onions, chopped
  • 3/4 c. shredded cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook noodles according to package directions.
  2. Drain and rinse under cold running water.
  3. Brown meat in frypan over medium heat.
  4. Drain.
  5. Add seasonings and tomato sauce and simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat.
  7. Combine cottage cheese, sour cream, green onions and noodles.
  8. Alternate layers of noodles with meat mixtures in greased 2-quart casserole.
  9. Top with shredded Cheddar cheese.
  10. Bake in preheated 350° oven for 50 to 60 minutes.
