Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground round or sirloin
  • 4 medium potatoes, cooked and mashed
  • 1 small onion, grated
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Mix ground meat, mashed potatoes, grated onion, salt, pepper, cinnamon, and egg thoroughly.
  2. Form the mixture into round balls or patties.
  3. Thoroughly cover each patty with bread crumbs.
  4. Fry in a pan with 1 inch of oil until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Drain on paper towels before serving.
