Meatloaf (Polpetta)
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs ground beef ⓘ
- 1 andoiulle sausage, chopped into 1/4 inch chunks ⓘ
- 1/4 cup chopped onion ⓘ
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup chopped sun dried tomatoes (bottled in oil)
- 1/4 cup chopped roasted red bell pepper ⓘ
- 1 egg ⓘ
- 1/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs ⓘ
- salt and pepper to taste ⓘ
- 1 tsp Italian seasonings ⓘ
- 1 tsp powdered chicken boullion ⓘ
- 3-4 strips of bacon ⓘ
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients except bacon. Form into a loaf in center of 11x13 pan.
- Place bacon over top and cook at 350 degrees until done
