Memama'S Corn Chowder

- Cut bacon into 1-inch segments and brown to a crisp in a large pot.
- Add diced onion to the bacon and sauté until translucent.
- While the bacon and onion are cooking, boil potatoes until soft, then drain, leaving enough water to cover the potatoes by an inch.
- Add cooked bacon, sautéed onion, canned and frozen corn, and milk to the potatoes.
- Simmer on low heat for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve hot with cornbread or crackers.
