A creamy, cheesy Mexican dip with ground beef, tomatoes, and optional mushrooms, perfect for sharing with nachos or taco chips at parties or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 (1 lb.) package Velveeta Mexican hot cheese
  • 1 (1 lb.) package Velveeta Mexican mild cheese
  • 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms (optional)

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef and chopped onion in a skillet.
  2. Blend Velveeta Mexican hot cheese, Velveeta Mexican mild cheese, and tomato sauce in a crock-pot or on very low heat on the stove top.
  3. Add the cooked beef and onion mixture to the cheese and tomato sauce.
  4. Stir in the canned mushrooms if using.
  5. Serve warm with nachos or taco chips.
