Ingredients

  • 2 cans yellow hominy
  • 1 medium bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1 (8 oz.) jar Cheez Whiz
  • 1/2 small jar pimento

Instructions

  1. Melt the oleo in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Saute chopped onion and bell pepper in the oleo until tender.
  3. Drain two cans of hominy, draining one completely and half of the other can.
  4. Mix the drained hominy with the sautéed vegetables.
  5. Stir in the Cheez Whiz and pimento until melted and well combined.
  6. Pour the mixture into a casserole dish.
  7. Bake until bubbly and heated through.
