Ingredients

  • 4 steaks (4 to 5 oz. each)
  • 1 (12 oz.) bottle dark beer
  • 1/2 tsp. dried red pepper
  • 4 cloves garlic

Instructions

  1. Puncture both sides of each steak with a fork.
  2. Place steaks in a shallow casserole dish.
  3. Combine beer, red pepper, garlic, cumin, and chili powder to make a marinade.
  4. Pour the marinade over the steaks, ensuring they are well coated.
  5. Marinate for 1 to 2 hours or longer in the refrigerator.
  6. Remove steaks from marinade and place on the rack of a broiler pan.
  7. Season both sides with salt and pepper to taste.
