Mexico Cornbread

- Use a saucepan and brown the ground beef; drain well.
- In the same saucepan, mix the browned ground beef, taco mix, corn, and 1/3 cup water. Mix together and simmer on medium heat.
- Follow the instructions on the cornbread mix to prepare the batter.
- Pour a layer of cornbread batter into a 9 x 9 inch or glass dish.
- Add a layer of the beef mixture over the cornbread layer.
- Top with another layer of cornbread batter.
- Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit until the cornbread is golden brown and cooked through.
