Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 package taco mix
  • 1 can kernel corn
  • 2 boxes cornbread mix
  • 1/3 cup water

Instructions

  1. Use a saucepan and brown the ground beef; drain well.
  2. In the same saucepan, mix the browned ground beef, taco mix, corn, and 1/3 cup water. Mix together and simmer on medium heat.
  3. Follow the instructions on the cornbread mix to prepare the batter.
  4. Pour a layer of cornbread batter into a 9 x 9 inch or glass dish.
  5. Add a layer of the beef mixture over the cornbread layer.
  6. Top with another layer of cornbread batter.
  7. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit until the cornbread is golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Let cool slightly, then serve.
