- Stir in milk.
- Heat on High for 5 to 6 minutes, until sauce is slightly thickened, stirring every 2 minutes.
- Quickly stir in beaten egg yolks with a wire whip.
- Heat on Defrost for 1 to 2 minutes, until sauce is thickened, stirring after 1 minute.
- Stir in vanilla extract.
- Chill slightly before serving.
