Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 medium onion
  • 6 unpeeled potatoes
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in the microwave for 45 seconds on High.
  2. Slice potatoes and onion thinly.
  3. Layer potatoes and onions alternately in a dish, seasoning with salt and pepper as desired.
  4. After adding each layer, stir in some melted butter to coat the vegetables.
  5. Cook on High for 15 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes.
