A refreshing mint fizz with citrus and ginger ale, perfect for hot days or entertaining guests, offering cool, zesty flavors with a sparkling finish.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup chopped mint
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2/3 cup boiling water
  • Juice of 1 orange
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 cup ginger ale or soda water
  • 6 ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Put chopped mint in a pitcher with sugar.
  2. Pour boiling water over and leave to cool.
  3. Add freshly squeezed orange and lemon juices.
  4. Chill the mixture for 2 to 3 hours in the refrigerator.
  5. Strain to remove mint leaves.
  6. Add ginger ale or soda water and ice cubes.
  7. Pour into glasses and garnish with mint sprigs before serving.
