Ingredients

  • 3 c. pecans, halved
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. white Karo syrup
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 tsp. oil of peppermint
  • 1 Tbsp. creme de menthe
  • 6 large marshmallows
  • 1/8 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Cook sugar, salt, Karo syrup, and water to soft ball stage.
  2. Chop marshmallows and add to the mixture to melt.
  3. Add oil of peppermint and creme de menthe to the mixture.
  4. Stir in pecans until the mixture begins to harden.
  5. Spread on waxed paper to cool and separate.
