Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup cream

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a saucepan.
  2. Add brown sugar and cream, then stir over medium heat until sugar is dissolved.
  3. Bring to a rolling boil and turn heat back to high.
  4. Boil for 1 minute.
  5. Remove from heat and beat immediately.
  6. When mixture begins to lose its gloss, spread quickly over hot cake in pan.
  7. Cool before cutting.
