Ingredients

  • 2 c. flour
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa (baking)
  • 1 c. Miracle Whip
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. warm water

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, soda, cocoa, and sugar in a bowl.
  2. Add Miracle Whip, warm water, and vanilla to the dry ingredients.
  3. Beat until smooth.
  4. Pour batter into a greased and lightly floured 8-inch layer or 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 25 to 30 minutes or until done.
  6. Let the cake cool, then frost with icing.
  7. This recipe also makes 18 cupcakes.
  8. Buttercream frosting is very good on this cake or use your favorite icing.
