Ingredients

  • 1 can wax beans
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 1 can green beans
  • 1 can lima beans
  • 1 can garbanzo beans
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 3/4 cup cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup Puritan oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Pour all the beans into a large mixing bowl.
  2. Add sugar, cider vinegar, and oil to the beans.
  3. Season with salt and black pepper.
  4. Add sweet onion rings last so as not to break them up too much.
  5. Mix gently to combine all ingredients thoroughly.
  6. Chill before serving if desired.
