Miracle Pound Cake

Ingredients

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 sticks Miracle Whip margarine
  • 1/2 cup Crisco
  • 4 or 5 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon lemon extract
  • 1 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Cream shortening and Miracle Whip margarine together until well blended.
  2. Add sugar and continue creaming until fluffy.
  3. Add half of the flour and half of the milk; blend well.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, along with the remaining flour and milk, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
  5. Stir in vanilla and lemon extract.
