Ingredients

  • 3/4 lb. ground beef
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1/2 lb. franks, sliced in thirds
  • 1/2 lb. pepperoni, sliced in thirds
  • 1 (15 1/2 oz.) jar Ragu
  • 1 tsp. prepared mustard

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef and sliced onion in a large skillet.
  2. Drain off excess fat, then stir in sliced franks, pepperoni, Ragu sauce, and prepared mustard.
  3. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Spoon the mixture into split, hollowed-out submarine or hard rolls.
  5. Top with grated cheese, then place on foil pans or heavy-duty foil.
  6. Cover loosely and heat until the rolls are warm and the cheese melts.
