Ingredients

  • egg white
  • cream of tartar
  • sugar
  • M&M'S bits

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 200°F (93°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, beat egg whites and cream of tartar until foamy.
  3. Slowly add sugar while beating until stiff, shiny peaks form.
  4. Gently fold in M&M's bits.
  5. Spoon 12 mounds, approximately 2 to 2½ inches wide, onto the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Garnish with additional M&M's bits on top, if desired.
  7. Bake for 2 hours until dry and crisp.
  8. Turn off the oven and let cool in the oven for 2 hours.
