Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup saltine cracker crumbs
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 can golden mushroom soup
  • 1/2 can water

Instructions

  1. Mix ground beef, cracker crumbs, and milk until well combined.
  2. Press the mixture into an oblong pan.
  3. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  4. Cut the chilled meat into squares.
  5. Roll each square in flour and brown in a skillet over medium heat.
  6. Place the browned meat in a baking dish.
  7. Mix mushroom soup and water, then pour over the meat.
  8. Bake at 350°F for 1 hour.
