Mock English Toffee
A rich, crunchy toffee topped with smooth milk chocolate and chopped nuts, perfect for sharing at parties or as a sweet homemade gift.

Instructions
- Line a jelly roll pan with wax paper.
- Arrange the soda crackers, salt side down, in the pan.
- In a saucepan, boil the oleo (margarine) and brown sugar together for 5 minutes.
- Pour the hot mixture evenly over the crackers.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F for 5 minutes.
- Immediately sprinkle the milk chocolate chips over the hot toffee.
- Allow the chocolate to melt, then spread evenly over the surface.
- Sprinkle chopped nuts over the melted chocolate.
- Let the toffee cool completely before breaking into pieces.
