Ingredients

  • 5 or 6 Russet potatoes
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Peel and slice the potatoes, then boil in water until tender to touch.
  2. Drain the water from the potatoes.
  3. Add butter, milk, salt, and pepper to the drained potatoes.
  4. Let the mixture sit long enough for the butter to melt.
  5. Use a mixer to beat the potatoes until light and fluffy.
  6. If the potatoes seem too stiff, add a little more milk and stir.
