Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 4 Tbsp butter
  • 2 tsp nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Mix sugar and cornstarch in a saucepan.
  2. Gradually stir in 2 cups boiling water.
  3. Bring to a boil and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  4. Stir in butter and nutmeg.
  5. Keep hot until serving.
