Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw rice
  • 1 1/2 pint sour cream
  • 2 (4 oz.) cans chopped green chilies, drained
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 12 oz. Monterey Jack cheese, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. Cook rice according to directions on the box.
  2. Mix sour cream, drained chopped green chilies, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. In a deep casserole dish, spread a layer of rice mixture and top with slices of Monterey Jack cheese.
  4. Repeat layers, ending with the rice mixture on top.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 40 minutes.
