Instructions
- Crumble yeast in mixing bowl; add salt, sugar, water and beaten egg.
- Stir in 2 cups flour; stir until smooth.
- Stir in melted Spry or shortening; add rest of flour.
- Mix well.
- Let rise once, then shape like Parker House rolls.
- Bake at 350° for 15 minutes.
