Ingredients

  • 3 lb. cooked chicken
  • broth from cooking chicken
  • black pepper
  • salt
  • 3 Tbsp. melted butter
  • pie crust

Instructions

  1. Cook the chicken and let it cool.
  2. Remove the skin and fat from the chicken, then cut it into small pieces.
  3. Using the broth from cooking the chicken, make a thick gravy to cover the chicken pieces.
  4. Mix the chicken with the gravy and season with black pepper and salt if needed.
  5. Add melted butter to the chicken mixture.
  6. Line a 10-inch deep pie dish with pie crust and pour in the chicken mixture.
  7. Cover the pie with the top pie crust.
  8. Bake in a 350°F oven until the crust is golden brown.
  9. Serve hot, optionally with additional gravy.
