Ingredients

  • 1 white cake mix
  • 2 (8 oz.) packages cream cheese
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 box 10x sugar
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1 pint strawberries

Instructions

  1. Prepare the white cake mix according to the package instructions and bake as directed.
  2. Allow the cake to cool completely, then slice each layer in half to create four thin layers.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat together the cream cheese, butter, vanilla, and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
  4. Spread frosting between each layer and on the top and sides of the cake.
  5. Add red food coloring to the frosting if desired.
