Ingredients

  • 1 recipe homemade cornbread, crumbled finely
  • 1 recipe homemade buttermilk biscuits, crumbled
  • 1 large onion, chopped fine
  • 3 or 4 large eggs, slightly beaten
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine the crumbled cornbread, crumbled biscuits, chopped onion, and slightly beaten eggs in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Add enough stock to achieve a moist, but not overly wet, consistency.
  3. Pour the mixture into a greased baking pan.
  4. Bake at 425°F for approximately 40 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  5. Allow to cool slightly before serving. Leftovers can be sliced and frozen for later use.
