- Cream sugar and Crisco together until smooth.
- Add boiling water, salt, cold water, and eggs to the mixture; beat after each addition.
- Stir in the dissolved yeast.
- Gradually add flour, 2 cups at a time, mixing well.
- Place the dough in a large greased bowl.
- Cover with Saran Wrap and let rise for about 2 hours until doubled in size.
- Punch down the dough and refrigerate until ready to use.
- Roll out the dough 2 hours before baking.
