Ingredients

  • 14 1/2 oz. package restaurant style tortilla chips
  • 16 oz. jar mild or medium chunky salsa
  • 2 large tomatoes
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. On a large microwave-safe plate, arrange 8 to 10 tortilla chips or as many as will fit in one layer.
  2. Spoon about 1 tablespoon salsa in the center of each chip.
  3. Top with a few pieces of chopped tomatoes and sprinkle with shredded cheese.
  4. Repeat until all tortilla chips are topped, making 4 plates in all.
  5. Microwave each plate on High for 1 minute or until the cheese is melted.
  6. Remove the plate carefully as it may be hot.
  7. Top each nacho with about 1 tablespoon sour cream.
  8. Serve immediately.
