Ingredients

  • 1 lb. boneless veal
  • 8 oz. sliced mushrooms
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 2 Tbsp. white wine
  • 2 tsp. flour
  • 2 tsp. chives
  • 2 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp. instant beef bouillon granules
  • 1/8 tsp. salt (optional)
  • 1/8 tsp. bouquet sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Arrange veal in a 12-inch baking dish.
  2. Top with sliced mushrooms.
  3. Cover with wax paper.
  4. Microwave at 50% (Medium) for 7 to 10 minutes or until veal is tender and no longer pink, rearranging once, leaving mushrooms on top.
  5. Set aside.
  6. In a small bowl, blend remaining ingredients.
  7. Increase microwave power to High and microwave for 2 to 4 minutes or until thickened, stirring once or twice.
  8. Pour sauce over veal.
  9. Cover with wax paper.
  10. Reduce microwave power to 50% (Medium) and microwave for 2 to 4 minutes or until heated through.
