Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons dry mustard
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 envelope gelatin
  • 1 tablespoon cold water
  • 1/2 pint heavy cream
  • Pimento stuffed green olives

Instructions

  1. Beat the eggs in a mixing bowl.
  2. Combine the eggs with sugar, salt, dry mustard, white vinegar, and water. Cook in a double boiler until thickened.
  3. Soften the gelatin in 1 tablespoon of cold water, then add it to the hot mixture and stir until dissolved.
  4. Allow the mixture to cool.
  5. Whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then fold it into the cooled mixture.
  6. Pour the mixture into a mold and garnish with pimento-stuffed green olives before chilling.
